Talent ID® is a uniquely granular database of driver metrics, meaning GKL® will have a global view on the most talented drivers and an opportunity to manage them as their careers progress.

Developed in-house by Formula 1® engineers, our STEM platform uses the power of motorsport to engage drivers in science, engineering, technology and maths.

speed academy
We’ve partnered with Hollywood actor Idris Elba to increase the reach of GKL®.
Speed Academy exists to find talented racers from underprivileged backgrounds.
From over 100,000 applicants, 65 were selected to participate in a karting event located within Formula E’s London ePrix. The most talented are now racing fully funded in the 2023 Total Karting Zero Championship.
Speed Academy is set to become a docuseries on a major streaming platform in 2024. Starring Idris and Rob, the series will follow the kids from selection through the GKL® Championship.
